CORINTH, TX, July 22, 2025 The City of Corinth has released its annual Water Quality Report, which highlights the safety, quality, and testing results of the City’s drinking water over the past year. This report provides important information about the sources of our water, the contaminants that have been tested, and the measures taken to ensure water safety for all residents.

2024 Report Highlights:

  • Water Sources: Corinth’s drinking water is primarily supplied by the Upper Trinity Regional Water District. These sources are routinely monitored to ensure consistency and safety.
  • Testing and Compliance: More than 20 potential contaminants were tested in 2024. All results were within—and often far below—the safety limits set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other regulatory agencies. This includes testing for:
    • Microbial contaminants
    • Pesticides and herbicides
    • Organic and inorganic chemicals
    • Radioactive substances
  • Exceeding Standards: No violations or concerns were identified. All regulated contaminants were found at levels well below the EPA’s maximum contaminant levels (MCLs).
  • Ongoing Safety Measures:The City remains dedicated to providing high-quality drinking water through regular system upgrades and advanced treatment methods. Additional monitoring technologies were implemented to enhance detection and treatment of potential contaminants, helping us stay ahead of regulatory requirements and better protect public health.
  • Get Involved: Residents are encouraged to review the report, attend public meetings about water quality, and take advantage of educational resources to better understand how their water is kept clean and safe.

“We’re proud to report another strong year of safe, reliable drinking water for Corinth,” said Glenn Barker, Director of Public Works. “Our team works hard every day to ensure the water that reaches your home meets the highest standards.”
