Engineering

The Engineering Division works to ensure that the City's current and future infrastructure needs are met. The division assures that roadways, sidewalks, sewer, water, storm water and other infrastructure are engineered and constructed to meet current and future demands, to account for impacts citywide in order to optimize overall quality and minimize conflict, and in accordance with industry best practices supported through continuous improvement and innovation. 

Please note: the City of Corinth has adopted a new Engineering Standards Manual and Drainage Design Manual (iSWM Criteria Manual). These became effective on December 5, 2019 and should be used for any new or first review Engineering or Civil Plan Reviews. 

FEMA published effective date for flood insurance rate map of June 19, 2020. At that time, any homes within the 11% (100 year) floodplain will be required to get flood insurance if they have a mortgage. For more information, visit the Corinth Floodplain Information page.
