Volunteer Opportunities

There are several opportunities available to volunteer with the City of Corinth. These include the numerous City boards, commissions, and committees and the Community Engagement Committee. Boards, commissions, and committees serve an important role by assisting the City Council in fulfilling its obligations to the residents of Corinth in numerous technical, civic, and oversight capacities. The Community Ambassadors are kept informed about City events and activities so that they can share this information throughout the community and provide resident feedback to staff.

Boards, Commissions, and Committees

Boards, Commissions, and Committees are essential in assisting the City Council with fulfilling its obligations to the residents of Corinth. Participation on a Board, Commission, or Committee provides residents an opportunity to understand the governmental process and play a vital role in the communication process between our residents and elected officials. Members of all Boards, Commissions, and Committees must be residents of the City for at least six (6) months preceding the appointment date and must be qualified voters.

Community Engagement Committee

The City of Corinth values transparency and community engagement with its residents. To achieve goals around these values, Corinth Community Ambassadors share information about the City of Corinth initiatives through a grassroots, word-of-mouth strategy. This group does not make any policy decisions; however, Ambassadors will make communication suggestions to staff based on residents' feedback.
