Corinth, TX, May 23, 2019 - Considering a career in law enforcement? Or are you just curious about what the Police Department does in our community? You might want to consider a Ride Along with the Corinth Police Department.

The Ride Along Program allows citizens to accompany patrol officers while on duty. The program was created to encourage community involvement in law enforcement and to help the general public understand the broad scope of police work done in Corinth. The program also promotes a better understanding of the challenges, risks and rewards of the police officer’s role in the community.

"The Ride-Along Program is incredibly important because of its ability to build trust within the community," stated Lieutenant Jimmie Gregg. "The residents that get to ride out with our officers will find that we have hardworking, professional men and women who display integrity in everything they do."

APPLYING TO THE PROGRAM:

To take advantage of the program, interested individuals must register in advance. Please fill out an CPD-041 Release of Claims (Ride Out) form. An officer will be in contact to schedule a date for the Ride-Along as well as to explain the required protocol.
