IT'S TIME TO RECYCLE

KNOW WHAT TO THROW

Corinth, TX, June 5, 2019 - The City of Corinth has partnered with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NTCOG) in a recent campaign to ensure residents are informed about where and how to recycle.

Over half of all the materials recycled are contaminated or cannot be accepted and end up in landfills. It is the city's goal, that through additional information and resource distribution, that our residents can help lessen that impact on landfills.

For Corinth residents recycling is collected once a week between 7:00am-7:00pm on your service day by Community Waste Disposal. Recycling is to be placed in the blue recycling cart which will be emptied on your regular trash day.

This summer, we will be posting regularly on social media, with information regarding how to prepare items to be recycled, and what items are accepted.

NTCOG encourages people to focus on the primary four recyclables, which consist of the following:

Paper and Cardboard
Plastic Bottles (make sure they're empty!)
Aluminum Cans
Clean and Dry Food Cans
