How can I handle my citation?

Option #1: Plea of No Contest/Guilty and pay the fine
Option #2: Request Driver Safety Course 
Option #3: Request for Deferred Disposition
Option #4: Request to be placed on the Court Docket

Request must be submitted in writing on or by the appearance date, which is 30 days from issuance of the citation. A telephone call does not constitute an appearance. 

What if I want to go to trial?

You have the right to a trial, either by Judge or a Jury. If you are issued a citation, you have been charged with a Class C misdemeanor offense. If you want a trial, you must make your request in person or by mail by your initial appearance which is 30 days from the date the citation was issued. If you do not appear, then a warrant may be issued for your arrest. Telephone calls do not constitute as an appearance.

Where do I pay my fine?

You may pay your fine in person at the Municipal Court window at Corinth City Hall or through our Online Citation Payment website.
