Welcome to the City of Corinth Permits page
A permit is required for any major construction done within Corinth City limits for more information regarding our permit types please consult the list of permits. To submit the permit follow the Permits Submittal Guide. To register as a contractor create an account with the Corinth Civic Access Portal and email permits@cityofcorinth a COLOR copy of, drivers license, trade license (if applicable), and certificate of insurance (if applicable).
For Building permits submitted prior to 3/27/2025 you can still access information using the etrackit system
Types of Permits:
Building Services Permits
Building Permits are typically done for project related to building or changing structures. Common Permit types for building services include, fence, remodeling, and solar panels.
Fire Permits
Fire Permits are typically for special events, pyrotechnics, and fire safety developments. For additional information regarding Fire permit please consult with the fire department at (940) 279-4590.

Do I need a permit to change my fence?
YES, any changes to fences require a permit. If you are on a single family residential property up to 20 feet of fencing may be, replace, removed or demolished without paying permitting fees. If you still have questions please consult our code or call Building Services at 940-498-3207

If I have already been registered with the City of Corinth but haven't made a Civic Access account do I need to re-register?
YES, in order to start the permit process you have to be registered with Civic Access which means you must submit documentation to register with the city (see steps 1-2 for registration). If you have outstanding permits you can still use eTrackit to complete it.
