Water Conservation Incentive Program

The City of Corinth Water Conservation Incentive Program encourages residents to purchase water-saving household devices. Rebates are available to customers who have active accounts with the Public Works & Utilities for the delivery of potable water. 

If you would like to apply for a rebate, please fill out the web-based form linked under the "incentive type" column in the table below.

Rain and Freeze Sensor

$30 Per Household

No permit required for installation

Delays watering during rain or freezing conditions. 

Freeze sensor prevents watering in freezing conditions.

Reduces hazards and damage from freezing water.

Watering Timer

$25 per household

No permit required for installation

Increases efficiency by turn on and shutting off the flow within specific time periods.

Hose/sprinkler timers (connected to a hose/outdoor water spout) give you more control over watering and prevent over-watering.

SMART Irrigation Equipment

50% of purchase and installation (up to $250)

One-time rebate per household

Qualifying SMART irrigation may include: drip irrigation retrofit; moisture sensors; flow sensors; high efficiency sprinkler nozzles; etc.

Cost may include installation hardware and installation costs incurred by licensed contractor.

Irrigation System Check-Up and  Upgrades Rebate

50% of cost of services

(Check-Up up to $100; Upgrades up to $250)

Reduce amount of water used and increase efficiency by having a licensed irrigator check your automatic irrigation system and make adjustments if necessary.

Upgrades to automatic irrigation systems reduces water waste by making irrigation systems more efficient, providing saving to water bills.

Waterwise Landscape/Irrigation Design 50% of cost of services up to $500 for irrigation design per property Consists of: native or adapted plants with very low to moderate water requirements (from Plant Guide); Non-living landscape surfaces which help reduce storm water run-off; Disabling entire irrigation system; Capping a zone; Converting a pop-up spray zone to drip/bubblers; Splitting a zone to beds and turf.
Low-Flow Toilet Upgrade Rebate
  • $100 for the first high efficiency toilet
  • $75 for the 2nd high efficiency toilet
  • $50 for the 3rd high efficiency toilet
  • limit 3 per household for the lifetime of a residence.

No permit required for installation.

Reduce amount of water used and increase efficiency by replacing toilets older than 1995 to low-flow toilets with WaterSense label.

By replacing old, inefficient toilets with WaterSense labeled models, the average family can reduce water used for toilets by 20 to 60 percent—that's nearly 13,000 gallons of water savings for your home every year! They could also save more than $140 per year in water costs, and $2,900 over the lifetime of the toilets.
