CITY SEEKS FEEDBACK ON TRASH AND RECYCLING SERVICES

CORINTH, TX, February 16, 2023- It’s time to talk trash! The City of Corinth is seeking YOUR feedback on trash and recycling services. The current solid waste contract with Community Waste Disposal expires in December 2024. City leadership will soon decide whether to embark on a new contract with CWD or to embark on new proposals from other companies.

City staff has created a survey, designed to be accessible for both business and residential customers, to get a better grasp of the community’s preferences on trash and recycling services. The City encourages everyone to take the survey, as the more responses received, will help provide a more accurate sample for a decision.

This process must begin now, despite the fact that the contract ends in 2024 due to the time it takes to create contracts, and order supplies and equipment from companies. Being proactive ensures we can stay on top of the needs of all our residents and business owners.

The survey, along with information about the process can be found on www.mycorinth.com/trash. The survey will be open now through March 16, 2023.The City urges you to share the survey with your neighbors and local businesses, to help ensure there is an accurate spread of responses. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help determine the services and expectations of the future!
