CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER EARNS CERTIFIED PUBLIC MANAGER DESIGNATION

CORINTH, TX, December 22, 2022 - Chief Technology Officer Shea Rodgers earned the Certified Public Manager (CPM) certification at the program’s graduation ceremony on December 19 in Austin, Texas. The Texas Certified Public Manager Program, accredited by the National Certified Public Manager Consortium, is designed for present and future leaders in public service. 

"This is a great accomplishment for Shea," stated City Manager Scott Campbell. "He has shown tremendous commitment to the program and the City of Corinth.  The training and skill he has developed over these past eighteen months will serve him well as he continues to lead the Technology Services department.”

Shea Rodgers has been with the City of Corinth since 2013.  He maintains oversight of all technology services operations, including cybersecurity, phone systems, server maintenance, and GIS. He holds a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. He was also recently awarded the Certified Government Chief Information Officer Designation. 

The 18-month CPM program is a nationally recognized program for training and developing public managers and supervisors. The CPM Program is a series of seven tracks designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and abilities of public managers in areas of human resources, quality management, communication, finance, program evaluation and information systems.
