Adopt-A-Spot Application

The Adopt-A-Spot program is a cooperative effort between the Keep Corinth Beautiful, the City of Corinth, residents, business owners, clubs, and organizations to keep right-of-ways, parks, and neighborhoods clean and beautiful. Interested parties may adopt one or more adopt-a-spot locations in Corinth.

Program Requirements

  • Adoptee agrees to maintain the Adopt-A-Spot location for one year.
  • Groups or individuals must conduct one clean-up before the Adopt-A-Spot sign is installed.
  • Groups or individuals must agree with adoption terms and sign the agreement.
  • Required documentation and/or advanced notification must be submitted before any clean-up activity. Please email kcb@cityofcorinth.com.
  • Clean-ups must be conducted quarterly (once every 3 months) or more often, based on adoptee's assessment.
  • Adoptees are encouraged to participate in one of KCB’s city-wide semi-annual cleanup events.
  • Groups or individuals are required to provide a clean-up report and photos of the clean-up to be used for recognition, and advertisement of the adoptee's work.
  • Upon the termination of an Adopt-A-Spot program, the adoptee is required to return safety vests and litter grabbers back to the Corinth Public Works Department.

Program Support

  • KCB will work with the City of Corinth to provide and install the Adopt-A-Spot sign with the entity’s name.
  • A supply package may be picked up at the Corinth Public Works Department at 1200 N. Corinth St, Corinth, Texas 76208. Each package will include the following items: Trash Bags, Safety Vests, and Litter Grabbers, if additional supplies are needed, please email kcb@cityofcorinth.com
  • Recognition of service to the community; placement of adoptee's photos may be used on the KCB and City of Corinth’s Facebook page and other social media.

Terms of Adoption Agreement *
It is agreed by all parties that if the maintenance of the contract area is not being performed according to the program requirements, the organization will be given 30 days’ notice of termination, after which the signage will be removed.
