LAKE CITIES FIRE DEPARTMENT PROMOTIONS

CORINTH, TX, June 15, 2023 - Fire Chief Chad Thiessen recently announced promotions for Driver and Captain positions for the Lake Cities Fire Department. “These individuals have served the Lake Cities with honor and integrity,” stated Thiessen. “Their leadership and contribution to the fire department have led to these well deserved promotions.”

Kevin Conner was promoted to Driver. He began his fire service as a volunteer firefighter with the Rockwall Fire Department in 1994. He joined Lake Cities Fire Department in 2001 and has been with the department for twenty-two years. Kevin married his high school sweetheart Amy. They have been married for 26 years and have two boys.

Lane James has been with the Lake Cities Fire Department for 4 years. He was promoted to Driver. He currently holds his Paramedic certification as well as his Structural Firefighter certification. He was elected as Firefighter of the Year in 2021 and 2022. He and his wife Sydney have one daughter.

With 18 years of fire service experience, Nick Lorenzini was promoted to Captain. He held the Driver position since 2021 and has been with the Lake Cities Fire Department for 16 years. He has been married for 14 years and has two boys.

Patrick Walsh was promoted to Captain and began his firefighting career in 2006 with the Lake Cities Fire Department. He held the position of Driver/Engineer since 2019.
