The goal of this project is to bring high-speed broadband to Lake Cities Government facilities and as the fiber ring is constructed Pavlov Media will build and offer residential service with speeds of 1 gig to every home in Lake Cities.

Status Updates
April 2024
Conduit is 100% complete. Eighty-five percent of the City of Corinth sections will be active by end of May.
Active Sections: 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 23.
Sections to be active in May: 12, 21, and 22.
Sections projected to be active by July 1st: 17 and 19.
March 2024
The contractor is working diligently to activate multiple sections in all the cities. Conduit installation is approximately 90% completed. Corinth currently has sections 13, 20, and 23 active. Residents may now call in for pre-orders.

January 2024
Go live dates have been provided for several sections within the network. The map is shown above.

December 2023
The installation of Conduit is 70% complete and the crews are targeting a March 2024 completion date. The March completion date is the date where residents will be able to obtain service. There will be some location that will get service before March. Services will start in Hickory Creek first.
September 2023
The fiber ring around the City is still waiting on DART to approve the railroad crossings. The installation crews are complete in the Amity Village area and are moving over to the new development of Ashford Park. The electrical hut for the system is being installed at the corner of Lake Sharon and Oakmont.
Fiber Ring -100 % of the conduit and vaults have been set. We recently found some damaged conduit and vaults that they are currently trying to replace.
Fiber is being pulled in other areas of the City.
Conduits within subdivisions are currently being installed. Most recently Amity Village area was completed.
The Fiber Huts/stations are waiting on power from Oncore.
Please let Public Works know if you have any issues with the contractors as soon as possible. We will be your liaison to get the repairs made.
July 2023
The fiber ring around the City is Waiting on DART to approve the railroad crossings. This portion of the project has an early October completion date. The crews are working to install conduits within the neighborhoods. Conduit and boring construction should be complete by early March 2024.
May 2023
Pavlov Media issues news release
So far the project has constructed 8.23% of the underground conduit work. They have been permitted 3.6% and a remainder of 88% to be completed.
February 2023
Hut locations are being placed in Corinth, Shady Shores, and Hickory Creek this month. Fiber is being pulled for the Corinth section that is drilled. All railroad crossings are getting close to being permitted. Pavlov is finalizing subcontractor agreements to speed up the process for Fiber to the Home (FFTH) build.
January 2023
We are still in the beginning stages of permitting and construction of the main dark fiber ring for the city. We are anticipating this project to be complete in 2-3 years, permitting and partial construction of the main trunk line continues. Crews are working in Hickory Creek, Shady Shores, and Corinth areas.
