NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON BUDGET AND TAX RATE

CORINTH, TX, August 22, 2025 – The City Council for the City of Corinth will hold a public hearing on the 2025-26 Annual Program of Services, Thursday, September 4, 2025, and on the Tax Rate on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 6:30 p.m,in the City Council Chambers located at 3300 Corinth Parkway, Corinth, Texas.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $2,405,170 OR 12.89% AND OF THAT AMOUNT $659,162 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.

The meeting will be held for the purpose of receiving community input on the 2025-26 Annual Program of Services.  All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
