CORINTH GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTION

The City of Corinth will be holding a General and Special Election on Saturday, May 4, 2019.


General Election:

The City of Corinth is a home rule city with a mayor and five council members who are elected at large for two year terms. Three council positions will be placed on the Saturday, May 4, 2019 general election: Mayor, Place II, and Place V.


Special Election:

A Special Election will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 to submit to the voters a proposition to determine whether the Corinth Crime Control and Prevention District should be continued for ten (10) years and the one-quarter ¼ of one percent (1%) sales and use tax should be continued for ten (10) years.


Key Election Dates and Times: 

Voting location, dates and times will be the same for both the General and Special Election. Corinth City Hall, located at 3300 Corinth Parkway, is designated as a Denton County polling place for early voting. On Election Day, only residents in precincts 1020, 1021, 1022, and 1023 will be able to vote at Corinth City Hall.


Early Voting

Monday, April 22 - Saturday, April 27, 8am - 5pm

Monday, April 29 - Tuesday, April 30, 7am - 7pm


Election Day

Saturday, May 4, 7am - 7pm
