Beginning Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at approximately 8:00am, the City of Corinth will experience low water pressure for at least three days. During this time, Upper Trinity Regional Water District will be replacing a section of the main water transmission line that provides the City of Corinth water to the Lake Sharon ground storage tanks.
The repair will require a temporary alternate water connection resulting in less water availability and low water pressure throughout the construction period. Construction is anticipated to be completed the evening of Thursday, February 14, 2019. Normal water pressure will resume upon completion of the project.
"We are asking that Corinth residents limit water usage and refrain from outdoor watering during the construction period in order to extend the water supply for our community," stated Cody Collier Director of Public Works. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage our residents to contact us if they experience any issues."
As information is made available, progress of the construction project will be posted on the City of Corinth website and social media accounts. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Utility Operations Manager Gary Parker at 940-498-7520 or by email at Gary.Parker@cityofcorinth.com.
