Swisher 35 Addition – This is a new ten acre, multi-lot development located in the 8100 block of I-35E, in front of Comfort Inn. The developer, Provident Realty Advisors, purchased the property last year and has since completed several transactions, with more scheduled on the way. Arby’s, Popeye’s, Panda Express and a retail building have all had site plans approved by the City. T-Mobile and Papa John’s Pizza have leased 3,500 square feet of retail space, accounting for approximately 50% of a multi-tenant building. Burger King has also closed on 29,000 square feet immediately to the north. Additionally, the City’s Planning and Development Department is currently reviewing a site plan for Discount Tire. These sites are expected to be delivered and ready to build later this year and scheduled to open for business in early 2018.
Millennium - Millennium is a proposed horizontal mixed-use development set on 24 acres of vacant land along the east side of I-35, just north of Dobbs Road in the City of Corinth. It will offer dining, retail, office, connectivity and residential opportunities. A key element will be the creation of a comfortable and enjoyable environment at the human scale, rather than a typical auto-oriented development.
As each building is constructed, a planned pedestrian connection to the main trail system will be implemented. Street furnishings, open spaces, water features, and a trail around a one-and-a-half-acre pond will be used to enhance the pedestrian experience. The development will also feature a dog park and designated food truck area.
The development is currently in its last steps of the development process and construction is set to begin in mid-summer.
Oxford - The City of Corinth is excited to welcome Oxford at Lake View, a new five building, vertical mixed-use development complex that will be located on eight acres behind the Walgreens on FM 2181. The development will feature 240 residential units and will have 7,700 square feet of ground floor retail space within two of the buildings on the south side of the complex.
The residential element of the complex will be gated and will include amenities such as a central pool and spa, a fitness center, open space areas with benches, and a pond with a trail system. The retail spaces will serve residents and the general public and will feature outdoor seating and a large gathering spot.
The project’s planned development application was approved by the Corinth City Council last August. Ground breaking for this exciting project is slated to be late spring.
