Texas Tulips

Join us on Wednesday, March 7th as we visit the Texas Tulips! We will head up to the fields to see thousands of tulips in bloom. We will be able to walk the fields enjoying the beauty, snap a few pictures and even pick some tulips to take home, for an additional fee. We will stop for lunch on the way back, lunch is not included in the cost. We will leave City Hall at 9:00 am and return by 2:00 pm.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Join us on Thursday, April 12th as we explore the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is listed among the top arboretums in the world with 66 acres of 19 different types of gardens to visit. A self-guided tour on a beautiful morning will take you along the trails to enjoy the fresh air and view the breathtaking gardens. We will have lunch at a restaurant in the gardens, or you are welcome to bring your lunch and enjoy a nice picnic. Lunch is not included in the cost. We will leave City Hall at 9:00 am and return by 3:00 pm.

Cavanaugh Flight Museum

Join us on Wednesday, May 9th as we tour the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. Cavanaugh Flight Museum is an educational organization devoted to promoting aviation studies and to perpetuating American's aviation heritage; the museum fulfills its mission by restoring, operating, maintaining and displaying historically-significant, vintage aircraft, and by collecting materials related to the history of aviation. We will stop for lunch on the way back home, lunch is not included in the cost. We will leave City Hall at 9:00 am and return by 3:00 pm.

Texas Civil War Museum

Join us on Thursday, June 14th to take a step back in time at the Texas Civil War Museum. The Texas Civil War Museum (TCWM) is a destination that tells the story of the Civil War solider from 1861-1865. the TCWM maintains the most comprehensive collection of artifacts west of the Mississippi river. While TCWM is best know for its military collections, it also holds significant collections of domestic objects and historic flags, personal items and artifacts, and postwar Victorian attire. We will stop for lunch on the way back home, lunch is not included in the cost. We will leave City Hall at 9:00 am and return by 3:00 pm
