Parks & Recreation

The Parks & Recreation Division is committed to ensuring park facilities are able to provide our residents with opportunities for wholesome, year-round activities as well as making a special effort to offer programs for the entire family, old and young alike, provide a great way to meet people, pursue a hobby, develop new skills and interests, keep mentally or physically fit, and simply to enjoy life.

These activities may include organized sporting events, shooting unorganized hoops or a quiet stroll around the boardwalk at the Community Park pond. Sitting on the bank listening to the stream trickle over the rocks in Naughton Park is inviting or perhaps feeding the ducks at Meadowview Park is your cup of tea.  Maybe a play date at Meadow Oaks Park; the playscape is awesome!  A picnic at Thousand Oaks Park watching the fountain spew and the native creatures interact would be a fun outing. Or, you may just want to sit in the shade and read a book under the canopy of trees at Fairview Park.  Whatever your taste may be, opportunities are the great outdoors right here in your community!

The Park Maintenance Division handles: Mowing and upkeep of over 150 acres of park land within our city.  Upkeep includes, but is not limited to: trash clean up, sweeping the parking lots, fertilizing, weed killing, installation and maintenance of playscapes, striping ball fields and small landscape projects around park signs.  In addition, this department is responsible for mowing city right-of-way and maintenance of Corinth City Hall.
