Storm Water Management Plan

General Information
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) notified the City of Corinth in 2002 that the City must begin compliance measures with the implementation of Storm Water Permitting Phase II MS4.

The City began active measures to fund these federally mandated requirements by establishing the Storm Water Utility District and the Storm Water Utility Fee in 2004.

After many delays final direction was given to city staff in August of 2007 requiring the City's Storm Water Management Plan to be submitted no later than February 11, 2008.  Since the city had been proactive in their efforts we were ready!

Our plan was submitted and our permit was issued on December 16, 2008.
