School Resource Officers

The Corinth Police Department has police officers assigned to three schools within its jurisdiction. Officers are assigned at Lake Dallas High School , Bettey Myers Middle School and Ronny Crownover Middle School

School Resource Officers are members of and receive training through the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO). SROs function as police officers in the school setting, working as a resource and problem solver, and the  development of teaching skills.
