The Lake Cities Fire Department (LCFD) strives to provide the highest level of professional service to its residents, while creating an atmosphere of community service, and promoting interaction between citizens, groups and public safety professionals in the Metroplex area. The mission of the LCFD: WE’LL BE THERE – Ready to Respond, Compassionate in our Care, Safe in our Work.
LCFD is a full-time department consisting of 36 full-time firefighters, paramedics and EMTs, 3 Command Staff Chiefs, and administrative personnel. They currently operate out of two stations: Fire Station No. 1 is located on Main Street in Lake Dallas and Station 2 is located behind Bill Utter Ford on Shady Shores Road in Corinth. Fire Department Headquarters is located at 3101 S. Garrison in Corinth. Each firehouse currently runs an ALS Engine and Paramedic Ambulance. As the area continues to grow, a third and fourth station are planned.
LCFD's Public Protection Classification (PPC) is 4 (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best – 10 being the worst). This rating is determined by the Insurance Services Office (ISO) to reflect our community’s fire suppression and control resources and is the system numerous insurance companies use to calculate individual property insurance premiums.
We consider your family our family. Whether you are a resident, business owner, or a visitor, our goal is to take care of you as if you were a member of our family. We would like to offer an invitation for you to visit any of our firehouses.
