Corinth Education Facilities
Corinth is proud of its academic affiliations with numerous elementary schools and secondary schools located within both the Denton Independent School District and the Lake Dallas Independent School District. Your School Board representatives may be found under each district’s website. If you are interested in how your schools are governed and how school tax dollars are spent, you are encouraged to take an active interest in serving on the school board serving your area and/or attending school board meetings. NOTE: If you have school age children, be sure you know which school district serves your subdivision.

Corinth is also home to the Corinth Campus of North Central Texas College (940-498-6282), a fast growing, two-year college that provides a variety of educational opportunities in the liberal arts, nursing and technical trades.

The Changing Role of Community Colleges
The role of the American community college has expanded beyond traditional vocational education and job training functions. It now includes activities such as:

Small business assistance (Small Business Development Center)
Tech-Prep programs with high schools
Contract (customized) training for employers and industries
Assistance with Skills Development Grant funding and training
Concurrent enrollment for workforce training courses
Professional and mandatory continuing education programs
Partnering and involvement with regional and statewide programs
Corinth is in close proximity (10-15 minutes) to the University of North Texas and Texas Women’s University, both in Denton.
